Wilma Vance

Wilma (GG) Vance, 85, of Pekin, IL passed away at 8:28 AM Friday, November 23, 2018 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. Wilma was born March 12, 1933 in Peoria, IL to William and Emma (Pairgion) Schlenker. She married Robert Vance on March 4, 1956 in Canton, IL. He passed away on February 15, 2013. Also preceding in death are her parents and grandson, John Reynolds IV. Surviving are: two daughters, Teresa Reynolds of St. Charles, MO and Laurie Turner of Somerville, MO; two grandchildren, Nicholas Reynolds and Rob (Robin) Connell; three great grandchildren, Dylan, Ryan and Rylie Connell. Wilma was a registered nurse at the Weimer Medical Group in Pekin for many years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Havana. She enjoyed gardening, taking short trips and the St. Louis Cardinals. She loved her grandbabies! Graveside services will be at a later date in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. There will be no visitation. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
