William Meadows

William "Bubba" Meadows, 70, of Green Valley, IL passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL. Bubba was born on September 8, 1954 in Pekin, IL to Thomas and Vivian (Bricker) Meadows. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: two daughters, Angela (Justin) Colson of Manito, IL and Dawn (Michael Mennel) Meadows of Bartonville, IL; five grandchildren, Garrett, Brendon and Aubrey Colson, Harper and Haislee Mennel; two sisters, Patricia (Stephen) Swingle of Green Valley and Sharon "Sherry" Woulfe of Green Valley. After high school Bubba worked at Barras Motors he then worked at TP & W Railroad. He then followed in his fathers footsteps to become a carpenter in Local #644 which is now Local #237 for 49 years and 5 months. He volunteered for the Green Valley Fire Department. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, NASCAR, hunting, fishing, boating and watching is son in law race. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 PM at Green Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
