Wanita Olt

Wanita Olt, 100, of Tucson, AZ and formerly of Pekin passed away on Friday, December 04, 2015 at Peppi's Hospice House / Tucson Medical Center in Tucson. Wanita was born on May 12, 1915 in Dunkel, IL to Walter J. and Sylvia D. (Kemmerer) Dunkel. She married Philip E. Olt in 1936 in Des Plaines, IL. He passed away on August 12, 1985. Also preceding in death are five brothers and two sisters. Surviving are: two sons, Philip (Pamela) Olt of Lyndon, IL and Mark Olt of Pekin; two daughters, Leanna Olt of Tucson, AZ and Marina (Jay) Glaze of Winston Salem, NC; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Wanita was a former member of St. Paul United Church of Christ and the JOY Circle. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
