Wanda Eileen Grube

Wanda E. Grube, 84, of Pekin passed away at 7:42 am Monday, November 07, 2011 at Pekin Manor. Wanda was born on November 22, 1926 in Galesburg, Illinois to Donald V. and Anna M. (Woods) Brent. She married Wilbert L. Grube on August 14, 1943 in Manito, Illinois. He died on April 12, 2010. Also preceding in death are her parents and two grandchildren. Surviving is: one daughter, Juanita J. (Robert) Benninger of Creve Coeur, IL; one son, Ronald E. Grube of Pekin; five grandchildren, Melissa Schonert of Pekin, Erica Gilmore of Pekin, Michael Grube of Bartonville, Scott Grube of Pekin and Kelly Painter of Virginia; five great grandchildren. Wanda was a cook for Dog-n-Suds from 1960 - 1965.
