Virginia W. Wieburg

Virginia W. Wieburg, 91, of Pekin, IL passed away at 2:34 PM Thursday, March 8, 2012 in the emergency room at Pekin Hospital. Virginia was born in Pekin on March 29, 1920 to Nelson and Ida (Doss) Weyrich. She married Bruce I. Wieburg on June 5, 1949. He passed away on July 27, 2009. Surviving is: two daughters, Deborah (Rick) Antonini of Pekin and Barbara Quade of Colorado, Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Jill (Forrest) Murphy of Kirkwood, MO and Brett (Courtney) Antonini of Pekin; two great grandchildren, Hudson and Liam Murphy of Kirkwood, MO; one sister, Martha Grossweiler of Bradenton, FL. Virginia attended Iowa State University. She loved to sew and was a member of the Bridge Club. Virginia was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was of the Christian Faith. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2012 at Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin. Rev. Dwight Borden will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miller Senior Citizens Center 551 S. 14th Street Pekin, IL 61554.
