Virginia E. Grunloh

Virginia E. Grunloh, 87, of Pekin died at 8:20 am Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. Virginia was born on November 19, 1922 in Waukegan, Illinois to Sylvester and Lavina (Wickkizer) Patten. She married John F. Grunloh on July 12, 1941 in San Diego, CA. He died on October 22, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: one son, John (Lin) Grunloh of Metamora, IL; one daughter, Susan (Roger) Nelson of Bartonville, IL; four grandchildren, Karen and Mark Grunloh and Tara and Ryne Dougherty; two great grandchildren; one brother, Russell (Florence) Patten of Pekin. Virginia was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Pekin Hospital League and the Red Hat Society. She was a former member of the Sunset Hills Country Club.
