Vera Krannich

Vera V. Krannich, 92 of Pekin passed away at 10:49 AM Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. Vera was born on January 8, 1920 in Litchfield, IL to George and Vera (Reid) Holderead. She married Leo Krannich on November 21, 1962 in Peoria, IL. He died on August 31, 1995 in Peoria, IL. Surviving is; several cousins and a special friend, James Riva of Peru, IL. Vera graduated from Litchfield High School in 1937. She worked for the Illinois Department of Employment Security for 35 years retiring in 1978. Vera was a member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin and the United Methodist Women. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, October 26, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Judy Doyle officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Friday at the church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin.
