Una R. Wallace

Una R. Wallace, 79, of Pekin, IL passed away at 7:52 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Heartland Manor Care in Peoria. Una was born on June 29, 1932 in Peoria, IL to Sylvan and Alice (David) Sherman. She married William Wallace on June 29, 1957 in Peoria. He died on June 17, 2004. Also preceding in death are her parents and one brother, Norman Sherman. Surviving is: one brother, Eugene (Blanche) Sherman of Sweet Springs, MO; one step daughter, Cindy Wallace of California; four step grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Una was a volunteer at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria for 30 years. Cremation has been accorded. Burial will be at a later date in Foster Cemetery near Fairview, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association- Central Illinois Chapter.
