Tristen Norman, age 20, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 3, 2006, in Decatur, Illinois, Tristen grew up with a passion for excellence and learning. He graduated with honors from Franklin High School before continuing his education at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, where he was currently in his junior year pursuing a degree in Finance. An enthusiastic Vols fan, Tristen embraced his time in Knoxville and was deeply dedicated to his studies in finance and investment strategy.
Outside of the classroom, Tristen was an avid weightlifter and dedicated himself to studying physical fitness and nutrition. He was passionate about music and enjoyed going to concerts and live performances. He deeply valued the time he spent with his girlfriend and high school sweetheart, Violet Truscott. Among his happiest times were those on the lake with his family, where he enjoyed wake surfing and spending days together on the water.
Tristen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Lettie Carr, and his great-grandparents, LaVerne and Margarett Norman, and George and Mary Zehak.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Tyson and Kelli Norman; his beloved sister, Emma Norman; his grandparents, Terry and Linda Norman; his girlfriend, Violet Truscott; as well as many dear aunts, uncles, and cousins who will hold his memory close.
