Thomas 'Garry' Williamson, 58, of Tremont, IL passed away at 3:00 PM Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in Spring Lake Township, Tazewell County, Illinois. Garry was born on August 24, 1959 in Sterling, IL to Tom and Catherine L. (Mattingly) Williamson. He married Laura Simms on May 22, 1998 in Sterling, IL. Preceding in death are his parents. Surviving are: his wife, Laura of Tremont, IL; five children, Shanda Williamson of Dixon, IL, Curtis Popejoy of Tremont IL, Tyler (Tabitha) Popejoy of Metamora, IL, Maranda Popejoy andAbrianna(Austin MacEwan) Williamson both of Tremont, IL; three grandchildren, Whitney and Hallie Williamson and Kayleigh Popejoy; four brothers, Joe (Debbie) Williamson of St. Francis, KY, Johnny (Penny) Williamson, Richard (Pat) Williamson and Wayne (Debbie) Williamson all of Rock Falls, IL; four sisters, Wanda Williamson and Lisa (Carl) Mattingly both of Lorreto, KY, Sheila Garcia of Rock Falls, IL and Peggy Williamson of New Hope, KY. Garry was a self-employed carpenter. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 13, 2017 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. in Pekin with Rev. Jonathan Farrell officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded. Inurnment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
