Thomas Wayne Liescheidt, 58, of Pekin died in his home at 11:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014. Tom was born November 14, 1955, in Pekin to Wayne and Maxine Arnett Liescheidt.He married Janice Gerling on September 1, 1984 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his parents, one step-brother, Tom Watson, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Aminta Liescheidt, one sister, Nancy (Dave) Drockelman, his stepmother, Marilyn Liescheidt all of Pekin. Also surviving are Tom's step-brothers, Jim (Ann) Watson of Riverton, Illinois, Bob Watson and Dan (Michelle) Watson both of Pekin. Also his step sister-in-law, Christy Watson of Manito. Sisters-in-law, Linda Amos of Henning, Illinois, Patricia Robinson, Deborah Johnson and a brother-in-law, J.D. Gerling all of Danville, Illinois. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Tom was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pekin. He worked for Walmart in Morton, last working Friday, October 3, 2014. He was formerly employed by Mauries Candies, The Illinois News Agency, and The Aid Association for Lutherans. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and a collector of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones memorabilia. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Rev. Daniel Bishop officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM - 10:45 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens, Pekin.
