Thomas L. Buss

Thomas L. Buss, 88, of Pekin, IL passed away at 6:30 PM, Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 4, 1935 in Lockport, IL to Lamar F. and Virginia C. (Connell) Buss. He married Joan M. Woock. on June 11, 1955. He was preceded in death by; his parents, his wife Joan; son-in-law, Kevin Corr; and three brothers, Edward Buss, John "Jack" Buss and James Buss. Surviving are: six children, Lynn M. Kemp of Harlingen, TX, Thomas L. (Dorothy) Buss Jr. of Green Valley, IL, Laurie Corr of Manito, IL Timothy G. (Rita) Buss of Pekin, Andrew J. (Fabiola) Buss of South Texas and David L. (Lori) Buss of Bartlett, IL; eleven grandchildren, Sarah Shelley, Eric, Kyle, Alex and Cody Buss, Ramona and Collen Corr, Sarafina Benton, Frank Gianessi, Kristi and Cassie Rauh; and several great grandchildren. Tom served the United States Marine Corp Reserves. He worked as a carpenter at Midwest Foundation Corporation. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Andrejek as celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Interment will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Toms arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinsons Association.
