Thomas Bellinger

Thomas Bellinger 83, of Marquette Heights passed away at 1:51 pm Sunday, May 13, 2018 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria. Tom was born January 29, 1935 in Sumner, IL to Otto and Barbara (Cochran) Bellinger.He married Shelby Walters February 14, 1953 at Shelby's parents' home.She survives. Also surviving are; three children including one son, Ronald 'Ron'(Eva) Bellinger of Marquette Heights; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Coon, Megan Davis, Tom Bellinger, Joshua Wolfe and Andrew Bellinger; great grandchildren, Dawson, Tanner, Noah, and Taylor. Tom was a machinist with Caterpillar retiring in 1991 after 36 years of service. He was a member of First Missionary Church in North Pekin. Tom was a diehard cardinal fan who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing.He enjoyed doing woodworking after he retired. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin with Pastor Tony Darr Officiating.Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the funeral home.Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.
