Suzanne E. Donze

Suzanne E. Donze, 70, of Mason City, IL passed away at 2:38 AM Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at UnityPoint Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria. She was born on August 3, 1950 in Martins Ferry, OH to Andrew Joseph and Sarah (Cruise) Coen. She married Daniel Donze on October 15, 2011 in Delavan. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, John Coen and Edward Coen; three sisters, Loretta Coen, Darlene Beebe and Brenda Coen; son in law, Joseph Bakotic. Surviving are: her husband Daniel of Mason City; four sons, John Horner of Topeka, Tony (Johanna) Horner of Topeka, Tim Horner of Mason City, Ben (Kay) Donze of AR; one daughter, Rachel Bakotic of Mason City; seven grandchildren Brendan Dorsey, Bradley Johnson, Brook Ellis, Aryiana Donze, Luna Donze, Gracin and Mary Bakotic; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Austyn and baby Aurora, expected July 2021; two sisters, Marcella Payne of Manito and Cheryl Henry of Pekin; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Suzanne enjoyed crafting, hiking and playing cards. She was very creative when it came to sewing. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family. Suzannes Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin with Pastor Jeff Leeman officiating. Visitation will be from one hour prior at the funeral home. Social distancing and face masks will be required. Burial will be in Mason City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Illinois Autism Association.
