Suzanne Barber

Suzanne L. Barber, 59, of Pekin, IL passed away at 9:43 AM Monday, February 22, 2016 at her home. Suzanne was born March 23, 1956 in Chicago, IL to Ralph and Betty Riggio. She married Paul M. 'Mike' Barber on August 29, 1985 in St. Charles, IL. Surviving are: her husband, Mike of Pekin; her sons she was so proud of, Matthew Barber of Carbondale, IL, Jacob Barber serving in the United States Navy and Jesse Barber of Chillicothe, IL; one brother, Paul (Nancy) Riggio of Chicago; many nieces and nephews including first niece and god daughter, Michelle Riggio Rarick of Washington, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Mark D. Riggio. Suzanne was actively engaged in the doors, frames and hardware industry for over 30 years and was last working as an architectural hardware consultant support person for S & S Hardware in Peoria. She also enjoyed quilting, crafting and cooking in her spare time. She loved her family and will be missed by all who knew her. A private service celebrating Suzanne's life will be held at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. Cremation will be accorded.
