Steven D. Kemp

Steven D. Kemp, 64, of Edwards, IL passed away at 8:32 AM Saturday, October 29, 2022 near Victoria, IL while camping. Steve was born on June 8, 1958 in Pekin, IL and soon after was adopted by James W. and Betty J. (Heisel) Kemp, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, biological father, Jack E. Todd, Sr. and one brother, Jack E. Todd, Jr. Surviving are: one daughter, Tammy (Tom) Livingston of Peoria; one son, Scott Kemp of Peoria; three grandchildren, Dylan (Maria) Livingston of Bartonville, Michael Livingston of Bellevue and Lily J. Livingston of Peoria. In 2018 he found his biological family. Surviving are: his mother, Susan Seelye of Coldwater, MO; siblings, Barb (John) Haynes of Pekin, Carla Irvin of Pekin, Chuck Seelye of Pekin, Bill Seelye of Coldwater, MO, Janice (Ron) Seestedt of Hanna City, Janet (Johnny Tang) Todd of South Pekin, Jeff (Liz) Todd, Sr. of Pekin and James (Rachel)Todd, Sr. of Pekin; Also, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve worked at Caterpillar, Inc. Mossville plant, last working on Friday, Oct 28th. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the NRA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved spoiling his grandchildren. A visitation celebrating Steves life will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Friday, November 4, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited.
