Steve Mcbride

Steve W. McBride, 64, of Pekin, IL passed away at 8:15 PM Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in his home. Steve was born on September 18, 1953 in Pekin to George and Lydia McBride. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: three sons, Jerrod McBride, Brian (Mindy) McBride and Kelly McBride all of Pekin; two daughters, Stacy (Charles) Zielsdorf of Pekin and Christy (Steve) Little of Green Valley, IL; five grandchildren, Austin McBride, Lexi Lydia McBride, Jake Little, Blake and Mallory McBride. Steve was a veteran of the United States Marines. He worked for over 30 years at Commonwealth Edison Powerton Plant. He was a member of the Tobin-Nanninga Marine Corps League Detachment #85 and the Marine Vets Motorcycle Club. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Andrejek will officiate. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 12 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Burial will be in Woodrow Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Marine Corp. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for his grandchildren.
