Stella M. Delahunt

Stella Mae Delahunt, 98, of Hopedale, IL and formerly of Pekin, IL passed away at 6:09AM Thursday, December 24, 2015 at Hopedale Nursing Home. Stella was born on April 23, 1917 in Maroa, IL to Robert and Ina B. (Gardner) Long. She married Lloyd Delahunt on October 30, 1941 in Sikeston, MO. He passed away on July 1, 2007. Also preceding in death are eight brothers and one sister. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Stella work for twenty-two years at Corn Products Company retiring on January 1, 1973. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in the chapel at Glendale Memorial Gardens with Rev. James McClary officiating. There will be no visitation. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
