Shirley J. Weyhrich

Shirley J. Weyhrich, 79 of Pekin, passed away at 6:32 am, on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at OSF Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. She was born on January 6, 1942 to Anna DeSutter in Manito, IL. She married Loraine Weyhrich on March 11, 1962 at Sand Prairie Church in Green Valley. He Survives. Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, and one son Jeffrey Weyhrich. She is also survived by; one daughter, Lynn (Dave) Wyatt of Manito; three grandchildren, Hailey Weyhrich of Gilson, IL, Jacob Weyhrich of Farley, IA and Heather (Tyler) Durham of Pekin; and one daughter-in-law, Linda Weyhrich of Pekin. Shirley was a woman of faith, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pekin. Shirley was a farm wife, skilled at many things. She enjoyed cooking, baking pies and was famous for her Angel Food Cake. She also was a talented seamstress. The family would like to thank the staff at Richard Owens for the wonderful care they provided to Shirley. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 700 S 4th St, Pekin, IL with Pastor Simeon Raddatz officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
