Sharon E. Sprenkle

Sharon E. Sprenkle, 70, of Havana, IL passed away at 9:55 AM Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale, IL. Sharon was born on December 22, 1952 in Martins Ferry, OH to Thomas and Ella (Cruise) McGlothlin. She married Edward Sprenkle on September 26, 2000 in Rock Island, IL She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Rick McGlothlin, Virgil McGlothlin and Bob McGlothlin. Surviving are: her husband, Ed of Havana; two sons, Thomas (Bridget) Allen of Peoria, IL and Alex (Anne) Brungart of Mundelein, IL; one daughter, Rebecca Roemer of Topeka, IL; five grandchildren, Alex Brungart Jr., Zoie Allen, Shay-le Roemer, Zachary Allen and Amelia Brungart; one brother, Kinsman McGlothlin of Havana, IL and one sister, Rita Fitch of Bellaire, OH. Sharon was a CNA working in area nursing homes until retiring in 2001. She enjoyed canning, gardening and yardwork. She loved her family especially her grandchildren. Funeral services will at 10:00 AM Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Dave Atterberry officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM -10:00 AM before the funeral. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
