Sharon Hudson

Sharon K. Hudson, 73 of Pekin, passed away at her home at 7:45 AM, Sunday, June 18, 2017. She was born to Norman 'Bid' and Betty (Johnson) Null on April 17, 1944 in Pekin. She married Thomas W. Hudson on October 19, 1963 in Pekin. He passed away January 22, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Tom, one brother, Steven 'Nutty' Null, and one granddaughter, Madison Henderson. Sharon is survived by; one son, Donald (Kelly) Hudson of Pekin; one daughter, Amy Hudson, of Pekin; five grandchildren, Jacob Hudson, Cheyenne Henderson, Apolonia Henderson, Allison Hudson, and Kaitlyn Hudson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin where she served as bookkeeper, and organized the food pantry. She worked as a bookkeeper for Pekin Machine. Sharon also volunteered as a PCHS Band Mom from 1986-1991, and helped with the Girl Scouts. Her passions were dancing, bowling, and helping residents at the UAW high rise. A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Rev. Michael McLeod will officiate.
