Sharon K. Hess

Sharon K. Hess, 74, of Peoria, IL passed away at 3:15 PM Friday, April 8, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Sharon was born on June 5, 1947 in Peoria to Don and Dorothy (Collins) Mohn. She married Sam Hess on December 30, 1978 in Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is: her husband, Sam of Peoria; one son, Troy (Cindy) French of Peoria; two daughters, Tracey (Mike) Peak of Peoria and Toni (Todd) Robinson of Lillian, AL; one step son, Sam (Mary Jo) Hess of Grass Lake, MI; two step daughters, Chari (Ray) Caudill of Topmost, KY and Patty Hess of Ann Arbor, MI; sixteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat (Dutch) Vollmer of Bartonville, IL and Carol Vandak of West Peoria, IL. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM 7:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation. A Luncheon celebrating Sharons life will be from 12:00PM 4:00 PM Saturday, April 16th at the Peoria Police Benevolent Building at 3703 Airport Road, Bartonville. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
