Ryan D. Nelson, 34, of Manito, IL passed away at 8:15 AM Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Spring Lake Township, Tazewell County, IL. Ryan was born on March 24, 1987 in Enid, OK to Danny and Kim (Tomlinson) Nelson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Margaret (Donald) Tomlinson. Surviving is: his father, Danny (Laura Markley) Nelson of Green Valley; his mother, Kim Nelson (Brian Morris) of Manito; one brother, Tim (Amanda) Nelson of Manito; nieces and nephews, Ashlyn, Brayden, Cade and Devyn Nelson; paternal grandparents, Dale and Shirley Nelson of Colorado, Springs, CO, maternal grandparents, Robert (Kathy) Tomlinson; special friend, Linda Carter of Manito. Ryan was employed by Liberty Steel and Wire in Bartonville last working on Friday. He loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed woodworking and working on cars. He was always willing to help his family and friends. A visitation celebrating Ryans life will be from 3:00 PM 5:00 PM Friday, August 27, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.
