Ruth A. Brady

Ruth A. Brady, 79, of 1510 N. 9th Street Pekin passed away at 7:55 am Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Timber Creek Health Care Center in Pekin. Ruth was born March 30, 1928 in Pekin to Carl V. and Dena (Schoon) Reaktenwalt. She married Matthew B. Brady on April 3, 1976 in South Pekin, IL. Surviving are: her husband, Matthew of Pekin; four sons, Daniel Kleiber of Manito, James Kleiber of Green Valley, Kenneth of South Pekin and Richard Kleiber of Pekin; three step-daughters, Mary Hasty of Groveland, Alma Betts of Andalusia, IL and Janet Murray of Lacon, IL; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Ruth was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church. She was a nurse aid and had worked at Perino's Shelter Care in Pekin.
