Ruby J. Etheridge

Ruby J. Etheridge, 88, of Pekin, IL and formerly of Temple, TX passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Hallmark Healthcare of Pekin. Ruby was born on November 4, 1933 in Manila, AR to Carmie J. and Clytee L. (Ramsey) Kennedy. She married Lonnie Etheridge on January 10, 1951. He passed away on February 9, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Danny Etheridge, one great granddaughter, Brandi Lynn Etheridge and two brothers. Surviving is: one daughter, Gerry (Terry) Reynolds of Pekin; two grandchildren, Ryan Montgomery and Derek (Emily) Montgomery; three great grandchildren, Hannah, Cole and Isaac Montgomery. Ruby enjoyed crosswords puzzles and reading. Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Stephen Barnes officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM 6:00 PM Monday. Entombment will be in Temple Garden of Memories in Temple, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or Alzheimers Association.
