Rosemarie Kott

Rosemarie Kott, 75, of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:16 PM Sunday, September 15, 2013 in the emergency room at Pekin Hospital. Rosemarie was born on February 19, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Josephine Flynn. Josephine and her sister Annabelle Flynn raised Rosemary. She married David C. Kott on September 10, 1960 in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her mother. Surviving are: her husband, David of Pekin; two daughters, Joanne (Wayne) Kott-Gann of Arlington, TN and Sharon Kott of Peoria, IL; two sons, Bernie (Robi) Kott of Greenville, NC and David A. Kott of Illinois; four grandchildren, Jake Emmons, Justin Emmons, Gabriel Kott and Taylor Kott. Rosemarie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. She had worked as the customer service manager at Bergner's in Pekin for many years and Good Will in East Peoria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 19, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday, Sept. 18 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin, IL with the rosary being recited at 4:30. A Second Mass will be at 1:00 pm Friday, September 20 at St. Christopher Catholic Church 4130 W. 147th St. Midlothian, IL 60445. Burial will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL Memorial contributions may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., Ste 550 Chicago, IL 60631.
