Rosella Mae Limback

Rosella Mae Limback, 103, of Normal, IL passed away at 4:30 AM Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka, IL. Rosella was born on February 25, 1914 in Bloomington, IL to John Alfred and Rosella Frances (Kagel) Stadsholt. She married Albert E. Limback on November 14, 1936. He passed away on July 20, 1981. Also preceding in death are three sons, Dale, William and Lawrence Limback and one daughter, Marla Beth Limback, one son-n-law, Vernon Laesch, two brothers, John and William Stadsholt and one sister, Lillian Jacob. Surviving are: two daughters, Rosemary Laesch of Bloomington, IL and Rosalie (Frank) Westerfield of Morton, IL; five grandsons, Tim (Sherry) Cooper of Morton, IL, Mark (Angela) Cooper of Downs, IL, Eric Laesch of Bloominton, IL, Steve (Emily) Laesch of Greenville, IL and Doug Laesch of Bloomington, IL; ten great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren. Rosella was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Normal. She was a member of the Sewing Circle, Sarah Circle, JOYs Bible Class and Altar Guild. In earlier years she played the organ at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manito. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathan Huehn and Rev. Timothy Fitzner officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM Sunday at the church. Burial will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 21st in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito, IL. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of Rosella's arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ Lutheran Church 311 Hershey Road, Normal, and IL 61761. Rosella's family would like to thank the staff of Comfort Plus Hospice, Methodist Hospice, Methodist Home Healthcare and the Apostolic Christian Home in Eureka for the compassionate care that they provided.
