Ronald E. L. Sutton

Ronald E.L. Sutton, 71, of Creve Coeur, IL passed away at 7:40 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his home. Ron was born on December 12, 1946 Peoria, IL to Andrew Elwood and Hazel Ophie (Chitwood) Sutton. He has been with his life partner, Betty Severns for 30 years. She survives of Creve Coeur. Preceding in death are his parents, one half-brother, Robbie Tomlinson and one step-brother, Gerry Tomlinson. Also Surviving are: one son, Brian (Cyndie) Sutton of Rockport, TX; two step sons, Dave (Kimberly) Severns of Creve Coeur, IL and Rich (Paula) Severns of Parsons, TN; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ron was a truck driver most of his life. He enjoyed watching sports and hunting. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Steve Chitwood officiating. Inurnment will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery with Military honors provided by the United States Air Force and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
