Roger L. Beebe

Roger L. Beebe, 65, of Forest City, IL passed away at 9:26 PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Keystone Steel & Wire Company in Bartonville, IL. Roger was born in Springlake Township, Tazewell County, Illinois on April 18, 1948 to Theodore P. and Sarah A. (Vance) Beebe. He married Darlene E. Coen on August 19, 1972 in Manito, IL. She passed away on January 6, 2012. Also preceding in death are his parents, two brothers and two sisters. Surviving are: one daughter, Vickie (Charlie) Meiner of Forest City, IL; two grandchildren, Shane Morris of Galesburg, IL and Hayley Morris of Forest City, IL; two brothers, Don Beebe of Mason City, IL and Melvin (Mary) Beebe of Manito, IL; five sisters, Wilma ( Charlie) Campbell of Havana, IL, Marge (Bill) Vogel of Braidwood, IL, Janet Naugle of Lincoln, IL, Lilly (Al) Hinthorn of Pekin, IL and Della (Dale) Burks of Manito, IL. Roger was Vietnam War veteran of the United States Army. He was employed at Keystone Steel and Wire Co. in Bartonville since 2003 last working Saturday night. Roger was a member of the Forest City Community Church. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Funeral services will be at 11:00 Friday, December 27, 2013 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin.Visitation will be from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest City Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army. Memorial contributions may be made to Forest City Community Church 203 W.
