Roberta M. Moussalli

Roberta Moussalli, who loved to be called "Momma" by her girls, departed her loving family on June 29, 2022 at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois surrounded by her family at the age of 96. Roberta was born in Witt, Illinois on September 16, 1925 to Henry and Mary Elizabeth (Harris) Kilby. Roberta is survived by her daughters Suzette (Moussalli) Seidel (Brendan) of Germantown Hills, Leslie Moussalli (Ken Garls) of Pekin and one grandson Dylan Seidel of Germantown Hills. Roberta raised her children with love and devotion making a loving family home in Pekin. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and one grandson Dane Seidel of Germantown Hills. She married Richard Moussalli on July 25, 1959, in Peoria IL. He preceded her in death on August 9, 1963. She married Marcel Moussalli on February 4, 1966 in Baghdad, Iraq. He preceded her in death on November 26, 1981. Roberta was employed by LeTourneau Westinghouse for eighteen years. She and her husband Marcel owned Marcels Art and Gifts in Pekin. Marcel was a world-renowned fine porcelain artist. Roberta was a tremendous mother, grandmother, and friend with a very kind heart to everyone she met. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Drive, Pekin with Pastor Phil Icenogle officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM 10:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
