Robert S. Travis

Robert S. 'Bob' Travis, 60, of 1605 N. 8th Street Pekin passed away at 6:37 am Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in the Emergency room at Pekin Hospital. Bob was born on September 20, 1946 in Peoria, IL to Roleigh and Dorothy Jean Travis. He married Linda Dobbs on October 12, 1968 in Pekin. Surviving are: his wife of Pekin; one son, Brian (and Stacy Painter) Travis of Marquette Heights; two daughters, Robin Travis and Megan Elliott both of Pekin; two granddaughters, Kaytlin Elliott of Pekin and Baylee Travis of Marquette Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Bob was a Systems Manager at Pekin Insurance Company for 36 years last working on Monday, June 18, 2007. His life was centered around his family. He enjoyed camping.
