Ricky L. Vonderheide

Ricky L. Vonderheide, 57, of 101 Midland St. Pekin passed away at 2:30 pm Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the intersection of Illinois Route 29 and Goetze Road in Tazewell County, Illinois. Ricky was born on September 4, 1950 to James E. and Jo Ann (Zimmerman) Vonderheide. His father preceded him in death. Surviving are: his mother, JoAnn Vonderheide of Pekin; one son, Beau Vonderheide of LaSalle, IL; his fianc Kim Guthrie of Pekin; three brothers, Vince (and Marcia) of Brewster, Texas, Mark (and Carole) of North Pekin and Brad of Pekin; six nephews and three great nephews; his beloved dog, Ricco. Ricky was Teamster with RA Cullinan in Tremont for 24 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pekin, VFW Post in Pekin and the Pekin Motorcycle club. He was an avid motorcycle racing fan and duck hunter. Ricky was a Vietnam War veteran of the United States Army. He was an organ donor.
