Richard N. Rowan

Richard N. Rowan, 72, of DeKalb, IL formerly of Pekin, IL passed at 2:11 PM Monday, February 5, 2018 at his home. Richard was born on June 20, 1945 in Pekin to Robert and Irene (Witkowski) Rowan. He married Barbara Goss on September 9, 1967 in Pekin. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving is his wife, Barb of DeKalb, IL and one son, Neal Rowan of Somonauk, IL. Richard was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed at HFR in Sugar Grove, IL retiring in 2005. He enjoyed model trains, his computer and wood carving. Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services with military honors will be at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
