Richard T. Guengerich

Richard T. 'Dick' Guengerich, 67, of Pekin died at 4:35 am Monday, March 29, 2010 at his home. Dick was born on October 4, 1942 in Pekin, IL to Richard Albert and Mildred Lee (Powers) Guengerich. He married Marsha Wilkinson on June 13, 1964 in Pekin, IL. Preceding in death are his parents and one brother, Joseph. Surviving is: his wife, Marsha of Pekin; one son, Richard H. Guengerich of Pekin; two daughters, Angi Guengerich of Brooklyn, WI and April (Michael) Johnson of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Jannai, Jewel and Joni Johnson, Clayton, Kendra and Shelly Guengerich and Irie Stein ; two brothers, Jerry (Bonnie) Guengerich and Mike (Brenda) Guengerich both of Pekin; one sister, Sharon Carlin of Lincoln, IL. Dick was veteran of the United States Army. Dick worked in shipping and receiving at Caterpillar and retired on August 1, 1996 after thirty years. He was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Pekin Eagles Lodge. He loved fishing, hunting and restoring old trucks.
