Richard A. "Rick" Gale

Richard A. 'Rick' Gale, 59, of Green Valley, IL passed away at 5:11 AM Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. Rick was born on July 2, 1955 to Lyle R. and Mary L. (Davis) Gale. He married Julie Schacherbauer on December 2, 1977 in Pekin, IL. He is preceded in death by his father. Surviving are: his wife, Julie of Green Valley; his mother, Mary Gale of Green Valley; two sons, Nick (Jillyn) Gale of Pekin and Nate (Riyn) Gale of Houston, TX; one daughter, Rikki (Scott) Wallace of Pekin; two grandchildren, Trace McClanahan and Camri Wallace; one brother, George (Mary Jane) Eitenmiller Jr. of Mackinaw, IL; one sister, Barbara (Ron) Clark of Pekin. Rick was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin and attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Manito. Rick was an avid outdoorsman, fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed going on family vacations and car shows. Rick was a pipe superintendent for Kiewit Construction Company last working Monday, April 20. Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Deacon Bob Sondag officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, April 27 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Building Fund or Larry's Casting Kids.
