Rev. Bobby Lounsberry

Rev. Bobby Lounsberry, 92, of Peoria, IL passed away at 6:15 PM Monday, March 31, 2025 at Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Bobby was born March 7, 1933 in Forest City, IL to Wayne and Vera B. (Goodin) Lounsberry. He married Nancy Kahly on October 5, 1982. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Don Lounsberry and one sister, Judy Cornick. Surviving are: his wife, Nancy of Peoria; one son, Mark (Sherry) Lounsberry of Little Rock, AR; two daughters, Denna DeCaro of Rushville, IL and Renda (Scott) Wallace of Rushville, IL; eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Bobby served as Pastor and Evangelist for a span of over sixty-five years. He enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. There will be no services. Pastor/Brother Lounsberry was very mission minded. In his honor, we request Memorial Contributions given be made to: First Baptist Church of Manito, PO Box 101, Pekin, IL 61555. These will be sent to his favorite mission work.
