Renee M. Duncan

Renee M. Duncan, 72, of Pekin, IL passed away at 2:57 AM Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria surrounded by her family. She was born on December 2, 1948 in Pekin to Rayburn and Maxine (Hannig) Pratt. She married Terry Duncan on September 27, 1969 in Pekin. They had a wonderful, loving 52 year marriage. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are : her husband, Terry of Pekin; one son, Robert (Kimberly) Duncan of Finksburg, Maryland; one daughter, Angela (Patrick) Bumbalough of Pekin; three grandchildren, Sydney Duncan, Abigal Duncan and Joshua Bumbalough; one brother, James (Joyce) Pratt of Green Valley. Renee was of the Methodist Faith. She stayed home to raise her children but later in life worked at the Tazewell County States Attorney office, Seico Secuirty and Sears. She was a Midstate College graduate. She enjoyed genealogy and traveling. Her love for travel started when she toured Europe with her college peers and best friend. She enjoyed all of her family vacations and the many vacations with her close group of high school friends to various places. Renee has been a big part of planning the PCHS Class of 1966 reunions over the years. She was an avid Chicago Cub fan who treasured above all, her family and time spent with her grandchildren. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, March 26, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin with Pastor Heather Robertson officiating. A Visitation will be from 10:00 AM 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to OSF Richard L.
