Renae Kathleen Juska

Renae Kathleen Juska, 33 of Marana, AZ and formerly of Pekin passed away unexpectantly on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at her home. She was born to Charles "Chuck" and Lea Ann (Blasingame) Juska in Pekin on February 11, 1991. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alexander and Theresa Juska. Renae is survived by; her parents; maternal grandparents, Donald and Jean Blasingame; two Aunts, Patricia (Ken) Grandys of Weaverville, NC and Kaye Blasingame of Tucson, AZ; three cousins, Aaron (Beth) Ganci of IN, Michelle Watson of Normal, IL and Theresa (Mark) Van Arsdale of AZ; and her beloved cats Rizzo and Ari. She was a 2009 graduate of Pekin Community High School and then earned her Bachelors from the University of Iowa in 2013, with a major in Health and Human Physiology and a minor in Business. Renae worked as a Realtor with EXP Realty and was a Senior Research Program Coordinator at the Steward Observatory at the University of Arizona. She was a generous person, and volunteered in her community to help others. She enjoyed traveling. Renae was a member of 2 book clubs in Marana. She was passionate about sports, especially cheering on the Chicago Cubs, Iowa Hawkeyes, and the Indiana Fever. She was very close to her family, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr, Pekin, IL. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, Friday, August 9, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 303 S. 6th St, Pekin IL with Father Michael Andrejek as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Pekin.
