Rebecca "Becky" A. Jester

Rebecca A. "Becky" Jester, 49, of South Pekin, IL passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago. Becky was born on May 1, 1975 in Peoria to Frank and Sandra (Carlton) Smith. She married Jason Jester on November 4, 1995 in Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: her husband Jason of South Pekin; three sons, Christian Jester of Pekin, Dominick Jester of Marquette Heights, and Gabriel Jester of South Pekin. She was loved by Patty Heflin, Brenda Morris, Debbie Rodriguez, Jeff and Stacy Govednik, Flint Keyes, many other family members and the entire Central Illinois Comedy Community. Becky received an associate degree in crime scene technology. She worked at OSF as a nutrition Tech. She was an excellent cook and delighted serving her family. Becky loved animals, especially cats. She especially enjoyed supporting her husband as a stand-up comedian. Her Memorial Service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory. A visitation will be one our prior from 2:00 3:00 PM also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to TAPS Animal Shelter.
