Randall C. Byland

Randall C. Byland, 75, of Pekin, IL passed away at 2:00 AM Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his home. Randy was born on April 17, 1948 in Peoria, IL to Clarence and Gladys (Elliott) Byland. He married Kathleen OConner in 1967 in Cherry Point, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Donna. Surviving are: his wife, Kathy of Pekin; one son, Mark Byland of Morrisville, VT; one brother, Ron Byland of Irving TX. Randy was a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked at Sherex for 25 years, retiring in 2005. He enjoyed collecting military memorabilia, Legos and knives. There will be no services. Cremation has been accorded.
