Peggy J. Kenney

Peggy J. Frazier-Kenney, 71, of Pekin, IL passed away at 10:10 PM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Peggy was born on December 11, 1950 in Peoria to William and Cora Mae (Elrod) Frazier. She married Robert Maykuth on September 11, 1999 in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Brian Logsdon. Surviving are: her husband, Bob of Pekin; six sons, Scott (Lisa) Kenney of Chicago, Jeff (Judy) Kenney of Arrowsmith, IL, Shawn (Cindy) Maykuth of Downers Grove, IL, Chris Maykuth of Joliet, IL, Chad Maykuth of Austin, TX and Andrew Maykuth of Raleigh, NC; three daughters, Shannon Kenney of Normal, IL, Shelly Kenney of Joliet, IL and Melissa (Jason) Maykuth-Burgett of Wooster, OH; one sister, Brenda (Tom) Frazier-Eeten of East Peoria, IL; twenty-four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Peggy worked at Baird and Warner in Chicago for twenty years retiring in 2010. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pekin. She enjoyed making Christmas crafts, baking cakes and cooking for family get togethers. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 1, 2022 at First United Methodist Church with Rev. James McClary officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM 8:00 PM Wednesday, August 31st at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory and from 10:00AM 11:00 AM Thursday at the church.
