Pearl Lloyd Cottingham

Pearl Lloyd Cottingham Jr., 66, of Pekin passed away at 2:44 pm Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Pekin Hospital. Lloyd was born on February 25, 1943 at Drake, Illinois to Pearl L. and Ethel D. (Barnd) Cottingham Sr. He married Audrey Bader on July 1, 1963 in Huntsville, Alabama. She died on January 11, 2007. Also preceding in death are his parents and two sisters. Surviving are: two sons, Pearl (Becky) Cottingham III of South Pekin, IL and Samuel Cottingham of Pekin, IL; three daughters, Audrey 'Tina' (Brad) Woll of San Jose, IL, Elizabeth and Christy Cottingham both of Pekin, IL; twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother, David Cottingham of Creve Coeur, IL. Lloyd was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in South Pekin. He was a Volunteer Fireman for Cincinnati Fire Protection District for 35 years and was a member of Tazewell County ESDA. He enjoyed being on the CB radio going by the handle of 'Rebel'. He also loved playing musical instruments and listing to music. He served in the United States Army.
