Paulette T Cheek

Paulette T. Cheek, 65, of Shelbyville, TN and formerly of Pekin passed away Friday, January 29, 2016 in Shelbyville. She was born November 12, 1950 in Pekin, IL to H. Earl and Lois (Golden) Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Chuck Cheek in 2009. Surviving are: her sister, Penny Thomas of Manito, IL; nephews, Jason T. Brooks and Joel D. (Monica) Brooks; niece, Jessica D. Dile; great nephew, Noah E. Brooks. She graduated from Pekin High School and the University of Illinois at Champaign. She lived in Houston, TX before moving to Shelbyville, where she was active in the Tennessee Walking Horse Community. Graveside services will be at 11:30 AM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Crescent Heights Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, IL. Visitation will from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, February 5 at Henderson Funeral Home 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin.
