Paul W. Belk

Paul W. Belk, 90, of Pekin, IL passed away at 11:46 Am Sunday, May 31, 2015 at his home with his family at his side. Paul was born on March 15, 1925 in Pekin to Jerry and Clarice (Thomas) Belk. He married Madeleine M. Frazier on April 2, 1949 in France. Also preceding in death are three sisters, Pauline Belk, Vera Hartley and Hazel Eairheart. Surviving are: one son, Daniel R. Belk of Pekin; one grandson, Daniel P. (Amanda) Belk of Peoria, IL; two great grandsons, Parker Belk and Rico Ponce both of Peoria. Paul was a life time member of Pekin Bible Church. He was a WWII veteran of the United States Army Air Force attaining the rank of Staff Sargent. He worked as a millwright for Corn Products Company retiring in 1980. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens with military honors provide by the United States Air Force and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team.
