Patricia M. Schumm

Patricia M. Schumm, 83, of Manito, IL passed away at 8:20 AM Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her home. Pat was born on September 14, 1940 in Freeport, IL. She was adopted by Henry C. and Carrie L. (Bruce) Speaks. She married Richard E. Schumm on April 9, 1960 in Pekin. He passed away on December 12, 1996. Her parents also preceded her in death. Surviving are: one son, Scott (Sherry) Schumm of Manito; one daughter, Dana Wood of Pekin; three grandchildren, Taylor (Garrett) Lovett of Manito, Jessica (JD) Lamar of Peoria and Lindsey (Dustin) Waters of Pekin; five grandchildren, Cannon Lovett, Richard Stake, Skylin Stake, Roman Lamar and Nicholas McTernen. Pat worked as a medical secretary for the Medical Group, Dr Parr and Dr. Falcon. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary and Leisure Oaks Park Campground. She was a member of the Peoria Sportsmans Club. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2024 at Lakeside Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
