Patricia A. Roberts

Patricia Anne Roberts, 78 of Pekin, passed away at 5:00 pm, Monday, July 20, 2020 at her home. She was born in Ville Platte, Louisiana on October 16, 1941 to Francis and Mable (Lavisphere) Hopper. She married George Roberts on March 11, 1988 in North Pekin, IL.He preceded her in death on May 3, 2015. Also preceding her in death are her parents, one son Dennis Cockrell and one brother Ronald Hopper. Pat is survived by; one son, Duane (Christina) Cockrell of MO; one daughter Michelle (James) Nichols of Pekin; three grandchildren, Beau Harshman, Tyler Harshman, and Derranne Cockrell; three great grandchildren, Alyssa Harshman, Ellie Harshman, and Baby Harshman due this December; and one brother, James Allen (Beth) Hopper of Ocoee, FL. Pat was of the Christian faith. She treasured her church family at Grace Baptist Church in Pekin. She worked as a homecare giver for Community Care Systems, Inc. She enjoyed fishing, the Chicago Cubs, WWE Wrestling, the Indianapolis Colts, shopping, and butterflies. She spent a good amount of her time spoiling her dear buddy, Mittens the cat. Her greatest love was her family, and spending time with them. Cremation has been accorded. Pat's family is planning a Celebration of Life at a later date. The family has requested that memorials be made to help with funeral expenses. Checks may be made out to Henderson Funeral Home.
