Patricia A. Lohmann

Patricia A. Lohmann, 95, of Pekin, passed away peacefully at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones. Born on March 17, 1930, in Pekin, Patricia was the daughter of William F. and Lucille J. (Bruder) Adcock. She married Clifford D. Bass in 1947. Pat later married Walter E. Lohmann on February 27, 1959, in Springfield, Illinois, and they shared a devoted marriage of over 63 years. Walter preceded her in death on October 23, 2022. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Mike Bass, Larry Lohmann and one infant son; one granddaughter, Erin Houston; two brothers, William and Richard Adcock; and three sisters, Rose Oltman, Dorothy Melloy, and Mary Maas. Patricia, affectionately known as Pat, leaves behind a loving family, including two sons: Walter (Denise) Lohmann Jr. of Argenta, Illinois, and Kevin (Connie) Lohmann of Pekin; and one daughter, Kathy (Stan) Lundy of Pekin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Mike (Julie) Bass, Jeff (Wendy) Bass, Robbie (Vicki) Bass, Melissa Houston, LeRoy (Melissa) Houston Jr., Katie (Jon) White, Trisha (William) Wolfram, and Tom (Savannah) Lohmann; twenty-two great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Beverly Bowman of Pekin; and one daughter-in-law, Sally Bass. A pillar of her community, Pat was a dedicated member of Bridgeway Community Church and the Pekin Boat Club. She served the Pekin community in various roles, including at her mothers restaurant, Do Drop Inn, the Pekin Public Library, the Pekin High School cafeteria, and as a crossing guard for the City of Pekin. Her warmth, kindness, and commitment to others left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A funeral service to celebrate Pats life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM 11:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Pats name to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.
