Patricia Mary Fischer

Patricia M. Fischer, 80, of 967 Chateau Dr. North Pekin passed away at 6:28 am Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Pekin Hospital. Pat was born September 27, 1927 in St. David, IL to Frank and Vera (Lakin) Starcevich. She married Louis Fischer on May 28, 1947 in Springfield, IL. Surviving are: her husband, Louis of North Pekin; one son, Frank (and Cathy) of Bourbonnais, IL; two daughters, Martha (and Denny) Brooks of Pekin and Toni (and Rick) Weber of Pekin; one brother, Frank (and Ruth) Starcevich Jr. of North Pekin; six grandchildren, Kristen (and Jeff) Hayes of Eldridge, IA, Benjamin Fischer of San Clemente, CA, Jeff(and Danell) Brooks of Pekin, Andrew (and Carrie) Brooks of Morton, Patricia (and Dan) Richmond of Tremont, Nicholas Weber of St. Louis: thirteen great grandchildren. Pat was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin. She graduated from Pekin High School in 1945. She managed the Baskin Robbins in Pekin from 1970 - 1974. She was a wedding consultant at Bergners Pekin Store from 1974 - 1980. Pat was Past President of the Junior Women's Club of Pekin and District 16, member of the Pekin Hospital League and Pekin Chapter #673 Women of the Moose. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and crafts. Pat made booties for the pediatric and surgical floors at Pekin Hospital. Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
