Olin Lundy

Olin W. Lundy, 82, of Pekin, IL passed away at 5:55 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at UnityPoint Health - Pekin Hospital. He was born to W. Doyle and Pauline (Clark) Lundy in Pennington Gap, VA on February 2, 1939. Olin was preceded in death by; his parents, one brother, Larry; two sisters, Anna Ruth Lundy and Kathryn Reynolds; and one niece, Clara Darlene Smallwood. He is survived by; two brothers, Stanley (Kathy) Lundy and Roland (Joann) Lundy both of Pekin; two sisters, Diane (Jerome) Smallwood and Darlene Mills, both of Pekin; and fifteen beloved nieces and nephews. Olin worked in Tooling Maintenance at Caterpillar for 34 years retiring on May 1, 1999. He was a lifetime member of the Pekin Moose Lodge 916. Olins life was his work. He believed very much in a strong work ethic. He loved farming, even owned farmland in Manito for a time. A graveside funeral will be held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday,January 5, 2022 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. A visitation will be held from 1:45 pm to 2:15 pm at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr, Pekin prior to the graveside. Memorials may made to Peoria Epilepsy Advocacy Network of Peoria Area, Diabetes Association or The American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA).
