Norma Freidinger

Pekin-Norma Freidinger, 85, of 1402 N. 5th St., passed away at 1:45 am Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at her home. Norma was born September 8,1921 in Pekin to George W. and Minnie E. Ringwald Deppert.She married Paul V. Evans in PekinApril 10, 1942 in Pekin, he passed away July 28, 1944.She then married Warren R. Freidinger on November 9, 1947 in Pekin, he survives. Also surviving are:two sons: David P. (and Karen) Evans of Pekin, Mark W. (and Bette) Freidinger of Winston-Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Brad ( and Molly) Freidinger of Augusta, GA and B.J.Freidinger of Winston-Salem, NC, and Zachary ( and Shanda) Evans, of Dunfermline, IL; five great grandchildren Robyn, Aaron and Cody Evans of Dunfermline, IL and William and Charles Freidinger of Augusta, GA; one brother, Merlin R. (and Viola) Deppert of Pekin; two sister-in- laws Marge Deppert and Dale Deppert. Norma was preceded in death by:two brothers, Robert D. Deppert and Orville G. Deppert. Norma was a receptionist for Dr'sWherry, Werner, Heldon and Colson.She was a member of YWCA, and Y Reserves.She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ where she was a Charter member of the JOY Circle and a sunday school teacher for many years.
